Yellow turned to pink when staff at Yellow Buses swapped colours
to raise funds for charity.
For the fourth year running the Dorset-based company organised a pink mufti day in aid of Breast Cancer Care.
And staff at the main depot in Yeomans Way, Bournemouth, as well as drivers on the road, got well into the spirit.
The engineering staff changed their overalls for a more glamorous shade of pink while one worker in head office turned up in her pink pyjamas!
Jenni Wilkinson, Communications and Marketing Manager – herself
decked out in a sparkly hair-wig complete with pink eyelashes – described
the day as a great success.
She added: “As always, our staff rose to the occasion with some fantastic
outfits. They really made an effort and put a lot of thought into the day.
“ Our passengers also entered into the spirit. It caused a lot of smiles.”
The ‘pink mufti’ day raised a total of £454.80.
