Driving seat: Scooby-Doo takes to the wheel of a Transdev Yellow Bus.

Fares please: Transdev Yellow Buses’ driver Stuart Grant takes the money for Scooby-Doo, Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy.
Shoppers in Bournemouth did a double-take after spotting cartoon favourite Scooby-Doo at the wheel of a Transdev Yellow Bus.

The lovable hound, accompanied by Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy, hopped on a single-decker outside the Pavilion Theatre, much to the surprise of passers-by.

Scooby-Doo is in town for the ‘Scooby-Doo in Stagefright Live on Stage’ show.

Based on the popular animation series which first hit TV screens in 1969, the show opens at the Pavilion Theatre tomorrow, Thursday, March 1, and runs through until Sunday, March 4.

In the show the Scooby-Doo characters, complete with their ‘Mystery Machine’, take to the stage to solve a classic Scooby-Doo mystery.

It was that way: The cast of Scooby-Doo hit Bournemouth.
