6h, 31: Service information

1 year ago Mon 11th May 2020

We know the importance of essential travel right now, whether you are a key worker travelling to work, or if you rely on public transport to get your groceries or pick up your medicine - we want to be there to help you.

After listening to feedback and initially working with the East Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, we have created new connections to Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Christchurch Hospital with new routes 6h and 31.

Both services have journeys at key times for the start and end of shifts. Both routes also provide off-peak journeys to Castlepoint.

Route 6h links Wimborne, Merley, Bearwood and Kinson direct to Castlepoint for essential shopping journeys. Route 31 provides a bus every hour direct from Christchurch to Castlepoint.

Both routes are operated with our usual buses and have the space to ensure that social distancing can take place.
