Tendered Routes

We are pleased to announce that we have been successful in winning back three of the four routes that have been tendered by Bournemouth & Poole Councils. The contracts have been awarded for 7 years and we aim to work in partnership with the authorities to continue to develop the routes encouraging more customers to use them.

The routes that we will continue to run are as follows (Please click to view timetables):
  • Route 18 Bournemouth to Broadstone (formerly Route H1) operating hourly Monday to Saturday daytime
  • Route 33 Bournemouth to Christchurch (formerly part of Route D1) operating hourly Monday to Saturday daytime
  • Route 36 Talbot View to Kinson via Bournemouth (formerly route U8) operating hourly Monday to Saturday daytime.

There will be minor changes to these times operating on these routes. Full details of the timetables will be available on our website, app and journey planner over the next few days. We will be printing individual timetable leaflets for these routes which will be available in due course.

  • Current route D1 between Poole and Bournemouth will be provided by morebus, and the current route C1 between Bournemouth and Castlepoint will be provided by morebus as from Monday 9th April 2018.  Between now and close of play Saturday 7th April these services will continue to operate unchanged. For further information after this date please contact morebus.
B1 to the Airport

The B1 service to the airport will continue to operate from the 8th April.

The B1 timetable can be viewed along with all other timetables in our Routes and Maps section, and also in the journey planner.
