Roses are red, buses are yellow…

Visitors to the Travel Shop received roses and Love Heart sweets

Staff from Yellow Buses spent the morning of Valentine’s Day handing out red roses and Love Heart sweets to their passengers.

Visitors to the bus company’s Travel Shop in Bournemouth Square were also offered the tokens to take home to their loved ones.

It is now a long-standing tradition that Yellow Buses marks the day to show love for its loyal passengers.

Amylee Foot from the Yellows said: “Our passengers were very surprised but also grateful to receive a rose.

“Some of the men looked really pleased as they could take it home for their wives.

“Our drivers were also handing out roses along with the change and this put a few smiles on faces.”
