Children at a Bournemouth School had a wheely good day when a Yellow Bus rolled into the playground.

The youngsters from St Peter’s school in Holdenhurst Avenue were able to get on board and ask questions.

Yellow Buses’ very own mascot Buster Bear was there too and he helped the Reception classes learn about transport.

Amylee Foot from the Bournemouth-based bus company said: “We came last year to help the school celebrate its 80th anniversary and the children enjoyed it so much they invited us back.

“We took our history bus which is decorated inside with photos of the company going back to when it was founded more than 100 years ago.

“The children asked some good questions and we hope when they’re older they’ll continue to travel on Yellow Buses.”

David Motte, one of the reception class teachers, said: “The children love the bus coming and can’t wait to climb on board.

“They had been thinking of questions that they could ask and they also loved Buster Bear.”
