Yellow Buses’ big beach bash goes brilliantly
350 days ago
Hordes of beach-goers on the golden sands at Boscombe enjoyed a free community event organised by Yellow Buses.
Buster’s Boscombe Big Beach Bash included face painting, sand castle building, giant jenga as well as circus demonstrations from Pantheatrix.
Yellow Buses’ mascot Buster Bear helped entertain the children and the day was hosted by Paul Kinvig.
There was also music, giveaways, workshops and plenty of organised fun to keep the children and parents happy.
David Squire, managing director of Yellow Buses, rolled up his trouser legs for a paddle and joined in the activities.
He said: “We made sure we booked the weather and we took one of our open toppers and giant deckchair to the beach by the pier.
“We laid on a day of free fun and the children enjoyed the space hoppers, games and competitions.
“It was all about doing something for the community and everyone had a wonderful time.
“We have plenty of other events and activities lined up for the summer and Buster will be out and about – so do go and say hello.
“This company has been part of the community for more than a century and we will continue to play our part in it.”
