Yellow Buses flying high

9 months ago Wed 28th Aug 2019

Yellows have a seaside shuttle service for the air festival

Yellow Buses is to run extra buses from Bournemouth railway station to the pier during the town’s air festival.

There will be a Seaside Shuttle running every 20 minutes to the pier – with group tickets available.

Up to five people can share a £10 group return ticket from the railway station to the pier on all four days.

The usual services – 24 an hour – between the station and the town centre will also be running.

Simon Newport, Yellows’ Commercial Director and part of the three-man team which recently bought the company from its French owners, said: “The roads are always busy during the festival.

“The more people who use public transport the better. That is why we have put on the seaside special on top of our usual services from the railway station.

“There is also the offer of a group return ticket for just £10. People come from great distances for the festival and getting people from the station to the festival is our priority.”
